When Marcos was a little boy of only 10 years old, he helped his father, who was a coffee producer. A few years later, when he was 15 years old, unfortunately his father died and Marcos was left in charge of the farm with his mother and brothers.
When Marcos was 20 years old, he and his mother decided to abandon coffee cultivation and dedicate themselves to other vegetable and avocado plantations, which was more profitable.
In 2018 he and his family decided to plant coffee again on the plot of land that his father inherited to him. A few years later, in 2021, it began to produce coffee, except that Marcos sold it as conventional coffee. In 2022 he prepared a micro batch with his brother and managed to sell it at a good price and the following year, in 2023 he prepared his coffee as a specialty coffee and sold to San Vicente and Kuma for a highly profitable price. Future plans are to get more land and grow more coffee, now that he can get such a good price.
